This site is simply a convenient way for people who want to learn more about me and my work. You will find my resume, some articles I have written and some web projects I have worked on.
As a web designer, developer and project manager, I frequently design and develop websites and applications that use ASP, PHP and other tools. I have the ability to do both design and programming, that is, I can do both the front and back ends well.
I have real-world experience with a wide range of technologies, infrastructure, applications and IT solutions. I also design, build and maintain various networks, file and web servers such as Linux, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, IIS, etc. I use tools such as Drupal, MySQL, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS XTHML ASP, VB, Adobe CS3, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, etc.
I am experienced developing sites in a LAMP environment, specifically PHP for Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, etc., using web technologies such as Linux, Windows, IIS, FTP, DNS, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, zone records, email servers, etc. I am very good with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) website marketing, branding and usability.
Presently I am the Interactive (online) Operations Manager for GateHouse Media New England an online network of over 170 websites including several winning awards, representing daily, weekly and specialty publications totaling 17 million page views per month. GateHouse Media New England is a subsidiary of GateHouse Media, Inc.
